I had such a great time last night! Here I am with Fran Seeley and Lisa Hachey at the Cancer Community Center in South Portland. Every year the Center honors its many volunteers and we were all on the guest list for the 2013 Recognition Reception. Read more.

BikeMaine-- a 7-Day cycling event is the first in New England

BikeMaine, a seven-day, 400 mile rolling celebration of Maine will run September 7 through 14.

The loop route, which begins and ends inOrono, will see cyclists camping in the following host communities: Orono, Dover-Foxcroft, Belfast, Castine, Bar Harbor (two nights) and Camp Jordan (Ellsworth). A map of the route is pictured below.

Maine McDonald's High School All-Star Games

In celebration of 25 years, you don't want to miss this year's EAST vs. WEST basketball action on Saturday, March 9 at Newman Gymnasium at Husson University in Bangor.

High school all-stars from across the state come together to put on a amazing show for you, complete with slam-dunk and foul shooting contests.
