GARDINER, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Maine Turnpike Authority says a crash has blocked the southbound side of the highway between Gardiner and West Gardiner.

Officials say a vehicle struck the Exit 102 bridge, which is part of a construction project. The MTA says the Exit 102 entering ramp is closed until it can be inspected.

There's no word if anyone was injured in the accident.

Traffic is being diverted to Interstate 295 at Exit 103.
