32nd Annual Battle of Maine

Statewide Ice Fishing Derby

The statewide ice fishing derby will go on as scheduled this weekend. This is not to be confused with the cancellation of the Sebago derby that was called off two weeks ago. There are twenty weigh stations from Acton to St.Francis where anglers can bring their catches and compete for over $20,000 in prizes. Also if anyone is lucky enough to break the State record on togue (31 lbs. 8 oz) they will win a bonus of $100,000. To find out more information go to Proceeds benefit charities all across Maine.
